Follow me on Twitter to keep up with the latest updates Michael Torbert
This plugin adds an animated flying twitter bird in your blog. If you move the mouse over the bird, a "tweet this" -and displays a "follow me" button. The bird found itself as the "follow me" link on the Twitter account. In addition to this a balloon with your latest tweet can be displayed optionally. The original script for this plugin is designed by http://floern.com, released under GNU/GPL.More Details at Plugin Support Page
Insert separate widgets or a entire widget area (sidebar) into a page using a shortcode.
The Widgets settings are specified in a specially created "widgets for shortcode" sidebar, just like you normally setuop a widget.
The Plugin will call that widget instance from the do_widget shortcode, or the chosen sidebar from the do_widget_area shortcode.
For example: You could use the query posts widget in the page to create a archive within a page, or the rss widget to list feed content from other sites. For more details see anmari.com
The plugins default action is that it will magically find the settings for your themes first sidebar and use them to control the widget's output. In most cases this would mean that the widget will be styled as per the rest of your theme.
If that does not look good, parameters exist to override this behaviour.
Change your theme? No problem, the plugin will save and restore the widgets_for_shortcode settings. On display it will then pick up the new themes sidebar settings. Check this still looks nice please! in some themes you may ned up with white text on a white background and will then have to override or change css.
OR go to an existing page and enter a shortcode:
[do_widget widgetname] eg: [do_widget calendar] [do_widget "widget name"]. eg: [do_widget "tag cloud"] [do_widget id=widgetid]
[do_widget_area] (will use the "widgets in shortcodes" widget area / sidebar [do_widget_area sidebarname] for another sidebar or widget area - eg: to maximise likelihood of getting your theme's widget css to apply.
If the plugin cannot work out what you want and you are logged in as an administrator, it will show a debug prompt to you, the logged in admin only.
Click on the link 'Try debug'. It will produce a bunch of info. Look for the id of your widget in the shortcodes sidebar (you may have to scroll through a lot of debug info). Try using the widget id. Sometimes the widget name that wordpress calls it internally is not the same as what you see on the screen and you will need the 'debug' to find the id.
[do_widget ...] Parameters:
[do_widget_area ...] Parameters:
See the settings page for links to help your create the shortcodes in a page.
To 'remove debug mode' remove ?do_widget_debug=1 from the url you are looking at (NOTE it only debugs if you are logged in and an administrator, so this is really NOT a problem.)
The plugin has been tested with most standard widgets (rss feeds, tag cloud, pages, meta, search, and of course my own plugins widgets - upcoming events list, calendar and user lists.
If you use a widget more than once for different reasons, you may need to use the widget id to isolate which widget instance and it's settings to use. ie: [do_widget id=categories-6] . If you just use the name, it will display all widgets in the shortcode sidebar with that name (all instances).

This plugin will monitor your blog looking for broken links and let you know if any are found.
Once installed, the plugin will begin parsing your posts, bookmarks (AKA blogroll) and other content and looking for links. Depending on the size of your site this can take from a few minutes up to an hour or more. When parsing is complete, the plugin will start checking each link to see if it works. Again, how long this takes depends on how big your site is and how many links there are. You can monitor the progress and tweak various link checking options in Settings -> Link Checker.
The broken links, if any are found, will show up in a new tab of the WP admin panel - Tools -> Broken Links. A notification will also appear in the "Broken Link Checker" widget on the Dashboard. To save display space, you can keep the widget closed and configure it to expand automatically when problematic links are detected. E-mail notifications need to be enabled separately (in Settings -> Link Checker).
The "Broken Links" tab will by default display a list of broken links that have been detected so far. However, you can use the links on that page to view redirects or see a listing of all links - working or not - instead. You can also create new link filters by performing a search and clicking the "Create Custom Filter" button. For example, this can be used to create a filter that only shows comment links.
There are several actions associated with each link. They show up when you move your mouse over to one of the links listed the aforementioned tab -
You can also click on the contents of the "Status" or "Link Text" columns to get more info about the status of each link.
Note: Some translations are not entirely up to date with the latest release, so parts of the interface may appear untranslated.
This plugin uses one or more icons from the beautiful "Silk" icon set.

This release is compatible with all WordPress versions since 2.1. If you are still using an older one, use version 2.7.1 instead.
A quicklook into Insert Html Snippet
The shortcodes generated using the plugin are easily available as a dropdown in the standard wordpress content editor as well as in widget settings, thereby giving you ease of integrating your HTML snippets with your posts and pages.
LH Profile Page creates a post or page shortcode: [lh_profile_page_form]. This shortcode along with appropriate attributes and handlers allow logged in users to change their own user data on the front end or if they have the appropriate capabilities also edit others users on the front end. This plugin works with user data, user meta data and also user taxonomies (if enabled via a user taxonomy plugin like LH User Taxonomies).
Login LockDown records the IP address and timestamp of every failed login attempt. If more than a certain number of attempts are detected within a short period of time from the same IP range, then the login function is disabled for all requests from that range. This helps to prevent brute force password discovery. Currently the plugin defaults to a 1 hour lock out of an IP block after 3 failed login attempts within 5 minutes. This can be modified via the Options panel. Admisitrators can release locked out IP ranges manually from the panel.
This plugin is available for reference only. Its functionality has been replaced and extended by Cyr-To-Lat.
The original author of this plugin is Anton Skorobogatov, who passed away prematurely in 2007. I decided to make it available for installation through the Plugin Browser/Installer. I take no credit for the creation of this plugin.
Converts Cyrillic characters in post slugs to Latin characters. Very useful for Russian-speaking users of WordPress. You can use this plugin for creating human-readable links.
Thanks to Alexander Shilyaev for the idea.
Order your pages, hierarchical custom post types, or custom post types with "page-attributes" with simple drag and drop on the usual page list screen.
The following video is from an early build (0.7) that has been significantly refined, but still demonstrates the concept.
Simply drag and drop the page into your desired position! It's that simple. No new admin menus pages, no clunky user interfaces that feel bolted onto WordPress. Just drag and drop on the page or post-type list screen.
To facilitate menu order management on sites with many pages, the plug-in also adds a new drop down filter allowing you to customize the paging (pages per page) on the page admin screen. Your last choice will even be saved whenever you return (on a user to user basis and post type by post type basis)!
The plug-in is "capabilities smart" - only users with the ability to edit others' pages (i.e. editors and administrators) will be able to reorder pages.
Integrated help is included! Just click the "help" tab toward the top right of the screen; the help is below the standard help for the screen.
Note that this plug-in only allows drag and drop resort within the same "branch" in the page tree / hierarchy. You can still instantly change the hierarchy by using the Quick Edit feature built into WordPress and changing the "Parent". The intention is to avoid confusion about "where" the user is trying to put the page. For example, when moving a page after another page's last child, are you trying to make it a child of the other page, or position it after the other page? Ideas are welcome.

Super Socializer is a complete package to provide your website all the social features (Social Login, Sharing, Commenting and more) in a single plugin
Spanish, German, French, Hungarian and Italian translation included
Below is more detail about the features:
Enables users to login to your website through their existing IDs on popular social networks.
Rapid signup/login: When using Social network for login, users do not need to type anything (most of the users are already logged into their social accounts). It helps in boosting signup/login rate at your blog.
Profile Data: User's profile data will be saved in your blog database. This data also includes users' email, enabling you to communicate with them.
Spam Reduction: Because social networks authenticate individuals and generally don't allow multiple accounts, the likelihood of false identities and spammers goes down.
Enables users to share your website content over popular sharing networks resulting in increased user traffic.
Increased User Traffic: When users share content over their Social network, it shows up in front of more people which results in increased user traffic at your website.
SEO Optimization: Social sharing helps your website content get indexed faster and improves other factors that help in search engine optimization of your blog.
Enables users to comment on your website via their Facebook account.
Virality: When people comment at your blog using their Facebook account, the comment not only shows up at your blog, but it also appears in their news feed. This puts your blog in front of new audience which further adds to the likelihood of you getting a new returning visitor.
Higher Conversations: When you know the person commenting on something, it's more likely that you will also type out your ideas there, unlike the situation when you don't know the person involved in the conversation.
Credibility: In traditional comment form, anyone can put any fake name (Bruce Wayne ..... ;)) to comment on your blog. If the same comment is from the original Facebook account of the person who is commenting, you can give credibility to this user and also the people will automatically trust it.
No Spam: You can get rid off the spammers and users, commenting using their fake accounts.
Works for the lazy: Most people are nowadays lazy. To get these people commenting on your blog, it will just require them to login to their Facebook account (which almost everyone does after powering on computer).
Every time a user logs in, plugin fetches profile data of the user and store that in your WordPress database.
Better Customer Relationship: User profile data includes user's personal information (birthdate, bio, website etc.) which can be used to foster customer relationships.
Updated and Genuine Data: As people update their (real) profile details on their Social network, you get updated and genuine data which is unlikely in case of traditional registration process.
Enhances Marketing Efforts: Social data can integrate with third-party platforms such as email marketing platforms, ad servers, recommendation engines, and more, to target the right users with the right messages which increases ROI (Return on Investment).

Scan all of your theme files for potentially malicious or unwanted code.
Updated for Wordpress 2.9
What TAC Does
TAC stands for Theme Authenticity Checker. Currently, TAC searches the source files of every installed theme for signs of malicious code. If such code is found, TAC displays the path to the theme file, the line number, and a small snippet of the suspect code. As of v1.3 TAC also searches for and displays static links.
Then what do you do? Just because the code is there doesn't mean it's not supposed to be or even qualifies as a threat, but most theme authors don't include code outside of the Wordpress scope and have no reason to obfuscate the code they make freely available to the web. We recommend contacting the theme author with the code that the script finds, as well as where you downloaded the theme. The real value of this plugin is that you can quickly determine where code cleanup is needed in order to safely enjoy your theme.
TAC got its start when we repeatedly found obfuscated malicious code in free Wordpress themes available throughout the web. A quick way to scan a theme for undesirable code was needed, so we put together this plugin.
After Googling and exploring on our own we came upon the article by Derek from 5thiryOne regarding this very subject. The deal is that many 3rd party websites are providing free Wordpress themes with encoded script slipped in - some even going as far as to claim that decoding the gibberish constitutes breaking copyright law. The encoded script may contain a variety of undesirable payloads, such as promoting third party sites or even hijack attempts.
Attention: if you are using customized tadv-mce.css and are updating from version 3.3.9 or earlier to version 18.104.22.168 or newer, see the release notes.
This plugin adds 16 plugins to TinyMCE: Advanced HR, Advanced Image, Advanced Link, Advanced List, Context Menu, Emotions (Smilies), Date and Time, IESpell, Layer, Nonbreaking, Print, Search and Replace, Style, Table, Visual Characters and XHTML Extras.
Language Support: The plugin interface in only in English, but the TinyMCE plugins include several translations: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. More translations are available at the TinyMCE web site.
With the "User Access Manager"-plugin you can manage the access to your posts, pages and files. You only create a user group, put registered users to this and set up the rights for this group. From now on the post/page is only accessible and writable for the specified group. This plugin is useful if you need a member area or a private section at your blog or you want that other people can write at your blog but not everywhere.
Check out the User Access Manager - NextGEN Gallery Extension.
Appeal: If it works click the "Works" button, if it don't works click the "Broken" button and report the issue here: http://mantis.gm-alex.de. That is the only way to find bugs and see if the plugin works proper. Thanks.
Some language files are really old, if you are a native speaker it would be nice if you update a language file or make one for a language which is not translated jet.

Check out new feature - masking links to digital short code! Versions 3+ have many cool features - outgoing clicks stats, fulllink masking, custom redirects and so on - but it may be not compatible with strange server configurations. Any feedback is much appreciated. If plugin is not working for you - try 2.172.
If you upgraded to version 2.10 and higher and have problems - please download version 2.05 or help me to debug - currently It seems like I'm having problems with blogs on PHP4.
If you are having problems even with 2.05 Then please download version 0.071 - it's slower, doesn't have functionality, but works fine on servers with the worst settings.
Still not good? Tell me about your problems in my blog.
This plugin is designed for specialists who sell different kind of advertisment on their web site (for example, with sape system) and care about the number of outgoing links that can be found by search engines. Now you can make all external links - internal! In your own posts, comments pages, authors page... Plugin does not change anything or write to base - just processes output.
Now you don't need to worry about your page rank or index, dropping because of spam bots. You write any kind of http link - and it becomes internal or hidden! Of cause, all the links will still be usable :).
In short, your links like "http://gmail.com" will be masked into
"http://YourBlog.com/goto/http://gmail.com" - or
Now you can even tansform simple link "<a href="http://google.com">google</a>" to
"<noindex><a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://google.com">google</a></noindex>"

Google's free font directory is one of the most exciting developments in web typography in a very long time. The amazing rise of this new font resource has made this plugin the most popular font plugin on Wordpress and it shows no signs of stopping. While font plugin solutions like FontBurner.com have helped bring rich typography to Wordpress themes, the selection of fonts easily available to the average blogger have been limited. The WP Google Font plugin makes it even easier to use Google's free service to add high quality fonts to your Wordpress powered site. Not only does this plugin add the necessary Google code, but it also gives you the ability to assign the Google fonts to specific CSS elements of your website from within the Wordpress admin. Or if you would rather, you can target the Google fonts from your own theme's stylesheet.
Right now, the Google Directory has over 390 great fonts, and the selection is steadily growing. As new fonts are added, we will release updates to the plugin quickly so you can start using new fonts as they become available. It truly is an exciting time to be creating websites, and I hope this plugin helps you create some great stuff. - Adrian3
