PS: You'll need an Akismet.com API key to use it. Keys are free for personal blogs, with paid subscriptions available for businesses and commercial sites.
Save time setting up new sites by automatically downloading groups of plugins. Add new plugins by adding the slug from the plugin's url in the Wordpress plugin directory. For instance, the plugin "All In One SEO Pack" is listed here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/. Add "All In One SEO Pack" to an installation profile by adding 'all-in-one-seo-pack' in the plugins field (one plugin per line).
WP Install Profiles (WPIP) allows users to define groups of plugins, called profiles. Once a profile has been entered, WPIP calls to the Wordpress Plugin Directory, downloads the plugin files and unzips them to the installation's plugins folder. Additionally, WPIP saves the profile in a downloadable format, so that the user can upload it to his/her next site and download the same plugins with a single click.

Better WP Security takes the best Wordpress security features and techniques and combines them in a single plugin thereby ensuring that as many security holes as possible are patched without having to worry about conflicting features or the possibility of missing anything on your site.
With one-click activation for most features as well as advanced features for experienced users Better WP Security can help protect any site.
Please read the installation instructions and FAQ before installing this plugin. It makes some significant changes to your database and other site files which, without a proper backup, can cause problems if something goes wrong. While problems are rare, most (not all) support requests I get for this plugin involve the users failure to make a proper backup before installing.
Change your sidebar content with different pages. Avoid creating multiple sidebars and duplicating widgets by adding check boxes to each widget in the admin (as long as it is written in the WordPress version 2.8 format) which will either show or hide the widgets on every site page. Great for avoiding extra coding and keeping your sidebars clean.
By default, 'Hide on Checked' is selected with no boxes checked, so all current widgets will continue to display on all pages.

This plugin allows you to place a widget on your sidebar that fetches the most recent contents of a Pinterest user's RSS feed and displays the corresponding thumbnail images. You can choose whether to show the description below the image, and you can set the height and width of the thumbnails to fit your theme. You also have the option of showing 4 different sizes of the official "Follow Me On Pinterest" button below the list of your pins.
You can also use this plugin from your theme templates, to display images lists anywhere else on your blog and you can easily give them a fixed size or a maximum size with CSS styling.
Starting with plugin version 1.3, you can also add a list of thumbnails of your Pins to a post or a page in the editor using the shortcode [prw username="Your Pinterest Username"]. (See FAQs for instructions).
Version 1.4 adds the capability of showing pins from a specific board in the widget or shortcode, rather than just all of the latest pins from a specific user. (See FAQs for instructions).
Note: This plugin is heavily based on the Image Feed Widget plugin created by Yorik van Havre (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/image-feed-widget/). It also utilizes the timthumb PHP script for image resizing (http://code.google.com/p/timthumb/)
This plugin will add related posts thumbnails after the post. Plugin allows to customize thumbnail sizes, display settings and type of relation.
By default it uses generated by Wordpress thumbnail for the first image appeared in the post, that was uploaded on the server with sizes as set in Media settings. You can select between 'thumbnail' and 'medium' size options. In addition if your theme supports Post Thumbnails feature introduced in Wordpress 2.9 you can specify custom thumbnail size. You can also specify post custom field name to be used as thumbnails source.
Thumbnails are arranged in columns under the post with related posts title/excerpt under each post thumbnail. Colors of background, border, text, text sizes, background on mouse over, title and excerpt length can be customized. See screenshot.
You can specify number of related posts to display, start date, categories to show on and to include, top text, style settings, default image URL. You can select type of relation - categories, tags, categories and tags, random or custom taxonomies. You can specify where to display related posts - choose page type (main or single), post type and select categories. You can turn off automatic appending to the end of post and use <?php get_related_posts_thumbnails(); ?> php tag in the Loop of your theme. Related Posts thumbnails sidebar widget is also available. You can use [related-posts-thumbnails] shortcode in the post body.

The recent Timthumb.php vulnerability (discussed here) has left scores of unsuspecting bloggers hacked. It's the perfect combination of not so easy to fix for the technically disinclined, and easy to find and exploit for the malicious - resulting in a disastrous number of compromised sites.
The Timthumb Vulnerability Scanner plugin will scan your entire wp-content directory for instances of any outdated and insecure version of the timthumb script, and give you the option to automatically upgrade them with a single click. Doing so will protect you from hackers looking to exploit this particular vulnerability.
After new, lesser vulnerabilities were found, it became apparent that the plugin needs to be dynamic - able to keep you up to date with the latest version of timthumb, without requiring a plugin upgrade. The plugin now checks for the latest available version of timthumb routinely (each time you visit the scanner page, but no more than once a day), and can download and install the latest version, rather than the one included with the plugin.

Special thanks to Jacob Gillespie for help with the bulk upgrade feature.

WP-Cumulus allows you to display your site's tags, categories or both using a Flash movie that rotates them in 3D. It works just like a regular tags cloud, but is more visually exciting. Clicking the tags can be a little hard (depending on your speed setting) but does take you to the appropriate page :).
The sources code for the Flash movie are available from wordpress.org.
Enables you to automatically display most commented posts, either by category or tag. Optional: You can choose manually the category or tag you want to display its most commented posts. It has several configuration options, and can list your comments with color bars. It has a widget to add it easily to your sidebar. See this plugin in action in http://movilarena.com
If you've given up the low-paying and slightly obtrusive ad networks used by many new bloggers, in favor of selling ads directly, you may have been frustrated with the excessive time involved managing your ads. Not only do you have to find advertisers to sponsor your blog, you have to manually edit your template to put the ad in, and then head over to your favorite calendar app to set an alert to remind you when to take the ad down.
Time consuming practices like those are a thing of the past. The WP125 plugin can help you manage your ads more efficiently, leaving you with more time to write new posts. The plugin adds a new "Ads" menu to the WordPress admin, featuring submenus for tweaking display settings and adding and removing ads.

WP Security Scan checks your WordPress website/blog for security vulnerabilities and suggests corrective actions such as:
